Frequently asked questions
What’s the turnaround time? How long until I see results?
Our SEO Launch service takes 14 days from when the content request is completed to when your final report is delivered. Typically SEO results manifest most between the 4-6 month mark post-optimization. This is an industry standard timeline, it takes a long time for Google’s algorithms to organically move you up in results. However, sometimes outliers occur where movement happens faster or slower.
What information do I need to provide?
From you, we need to know some basics about where you’re located (or if it’s an online business) as well as a brief description of your business and the ideal keywords you’d like to be found for. We’ll do professional keyword research using your suggestions as a guide, and we’ll work together on the keyword list until we’re both happy with the keywords we’re targeting for your optimization!
Does SEO need to be maintained monthly?
Absolutely not. Once SEO is implemented on your website, we recommend a “set it and forget it” approach for at least 6 months. Full SEO results can take up to 9 months to present themselves, so if you edit your SEO on a monthly basis you’re not giving search engines enough time to give you enough data. You won’t know if a keyword is truly working or not. If after 6 or so months you’re really not seeing much movement for a few keywords, that’s when you may consider revisiting your SEO. The only other time you may need to revisit your SEO is if you add large amounts of content, such as several web pages.
Does blogging really make a difference?
Yes! Blog posts are beneficial in two ways: they show Google you are frequently updating your website and building your content (especially if you post regularly!) AND the posts themselves can drive traffic to your site if they get their own exposure and results from search engines! This is why SEO focused and content rich blogs are especially crucial.
About how much per month should I spend with Google Ads?
This is a great question. Our management fee is $500/month to setup and run the campaign, as well as report on the data and modify as needed! With that in mind, we typically recommend at least $500 in ad spend as well, just so you can get the most bang for your buck! It’s a healthy budget and we should see some great results!
Can you guarantee results?
We get this question frequently - and totally understand why our clients would want guarantees. SEO is an investment, and you want to see that ROI. However, no true SEO expert should ever guarantee results because there can be so many outside factors that can influence SEO. The number one thing that influences SEO is Google and their constantly-evolving algorithm. Depending on things such as: time the site has been live, domain authority, content quality, website engagement, time spent on site, etc Google may move you faster or slower up the rankings. We’ve seen tremendous results as early as a few weeks to a month (like this case study client!) and longer term results that show around 6 months later. It’s all up to Google!
