What’s the turnaround time?
Website design is typically two to four weeks, depending on when content is provided. The timeline starts once we have all of the content. Branding services occur before site design, and have a similar timeline depending on revisions. SEO and post launch services will be properly aligned with the website design timeline to coordinate with the projected launch date.
What assets do I need to provide?
That depends on what we’re doing for you! If you’re coming to us for a full service package, you just need to fill out a few questionnaires, because it’s our responsibility to create all the assets you’ll need! Copy can be one of the biggest things we’ll need, but we do have a copywriter available who can help you nail down your messaging.
Who owns the website?
You do! Website asset ownership is always transferred to our clients. We “own” the asset through the design process, but as soon as our work is done the site will officially belong to you! We believe you should always own your website and have full access to it.
Why Squarespace and Shopify?
Good question! We’ve worked with quite a few website building platforms (WordPress, Wix, Weebly, ALL the W’s) and we’ve found these two platforms to be the best combination of features, accessibility for our clients, and price. They’re not overly complicated, and both excel at their specific areas of application.
What are the benefits of working with a website design studio?
Glad you asked! In the case of Squarespace, we get you 20% off your entire first year of website cost! We also get a longer trial period, meaning much more time to build your website before we have to start a monthly plan. In the case of Shopify, we can create unlimited length free trials (AMAZING for building a store, as usually Shopify makes you start your subscription after only 10 days) and we receive priority support - so if you have a problem and need customer service we can get a response ASAP. We also know all the ins and outs of both platforms to save you time, money, and frustration! And those are just the pros on the website building side! We could go on forever!
