Thunder & Anvil

Thunder & Anvil was such a fun project! We started off with graphic design to create a new logo for Sam. She was so sweet and let us do pretty much whatever we wanted. Originally, Sam had a bird logo, but the bird wasn’t very unique, and the font didn’t really have any connection to Sam’s brand. When we redesigned the logo, we cleaned up the bird and moved the wings to be upward-arching. We chose a strong, blacksmith style font that we all absolutely loved! Small logo tweaks in theory, but the difference between the two designs is huge when you line them up!

After the logo was squared away, we moved onto website design. Sam had the most beautiful southwest blue-jean & rusty truck style images with such beautiful turquoise. I could not resist offsetting them with this trendy mustard color to really make the site pop! She has an easily shoppable layout that translates really well to mobile, with an on-brand Instagram feed linked towards the bottom. Sam has been doing amazing now that she has a professional online store to sell her beautiful pieces!
